| What our group does: | |
| OMTI is your local computer drop-in centre. We can offer people the use of the latest computer equipment and tuition, FREE of charge in an un-intimidating atmosphere. We offer short non-accredited courses in a range of subjects including Email, Internet, Digital Photography, Desktop Publishing, Word Processing and Basic Introduction to Computers We also offer a number of accredited courses. These range from Typing skills with E-Type, a qualification judged by the candidates typing skills allowing 3 levels of success od Bronze, Silver and outstanding Gold! The ECDL which is a level 2 qualification which test the candidate on various Microsoft Office based applications and common knowledge of computer management and law, and finishing with ECDL Advanced which is a level 3 qualification, testing the most advanced of Microsoft Office users at an expert level to show that you really have what it takes to master Microsoft Office. We are also in the process of begining to add a Personal Finance course to our course list, which will be rewarded with an accredited certificate too. | Summer School Holidays Kids at a loose end during the summer holidays? Are they bored, fed-up and got nothing to do? If so, send them to the O.M.T.I. where we can entertain them for a few hours each day. We will be running loads of competitions with just as many prizes up for grabs. So don't put up with the kids this summer. Let O.M.T.I. take the stress instead. Learning / Education We can offer 1 to 1 tuition to anyone who prefers a little more privacy or attention. please ring to book a time. Drop-in access is anytime we are open. Open Learning Workshop You can learn any subject at your own pace during the workshops. You always have the support of a tutor should you need one. It?s the fastest and most convenient way to learn. Every Wednesday evening 5.30pm to 8.00pm E-Type The E-Type Qualification can be taken any weekday here in the centre so feel free to bob in when you have a couple of spare hours and Improve those keyboard skills. | |
