What our group does:

Kendray Community House is an advice and information centre offering free, impartial and confidential help to local people. It is managed by Barnsley MBC and overseen by the Kendray Community House Resident Steering Group.

New services for 2010 being offered by Community House include:

Snack & Chat Session - offering support, encouragement and motiviation to help you improve your health. Includes free healthy breakfast options. Available on a Tuesday morning, 9am until 11:30pm. Running from Tuesday 5th January upto and including Tuesday 9th February 2010.

Kendray & Worsbrough Learning Net - offering up-to-date information on local learning events and courses which best suit your individual needs. Available on a Friday morning. Please ring to make an appointment.

Barnsley Options Team / Coffee Morning & Job Shop - all new look Job Shop to help you get back into employment. Available on a Friday morning, 9am until 12 noon. Please drop-in.

Learning & Skills Advice - Information, advice and guidance service for anyone wishing to find out about training or education courses, careers or job opportunities. Available on a Wednesday morning, 10am until 12 noon. This service is offered on a fortnightly basis. Please contact Community House for the date of the next drop-in session.

Continued services being offered by Community House include:

Berneslai Homes Impact Officer Drop-in - Running on Tuesday 9th February, 12:30pm until 1:30pm.

Kendray & Worsbrough Safer Neighbourhood Team - offering free crime prevention advice and free property marking product to all Kendray & Worsbrough residents. Available on Wednesday 3rd February, Wednesday 3rd March and Wednesday 31st March, 11am until 12 noon. Please drop-in.

Citizens Advice Bureau (including Money Advice). Available on a Thursday morning, 10am until 12:30pm. Please drop-in.

Young People's Health Clinic (C-Card Registration Point). Available on a Tuesday evening, 5pm until 6pm. Please drop-in.

General Advice & Information. Available on a Wednesday, 10am until 2pm. Please call in.
