| What our group does: |
| | C&W fishing club is run by two local volunteers, Craig Waddle and Walt Boydell. The main aim of this fishing club is to encourage young people in the Kendray area to develop an interest in fishing.

| Group Activities: |
| | The group of young people meet every second Wednesday at the community centre and learn the skills involved in fishing. The young people also take part in various exercises, which focuses on:
- Tying hooks safely
- How to cast
- Different rod set ups
- Different types of fishing
- Types of bait
- Preparation of bait
- Fish locations
- Environmental effects
- Storage of bait
- Safe handling of fish.
- Wormery Handling & Care
At each session, young people are chosen to go fishing at Swanee Pond and Hoyle Mill Pond and depending on the level of experience, run regular matches between members.
