Neighbourhood Services

There will be a minimum of three service level agreements, the first being “The Keeping Kendray Clean & Tidy Agreement”, which was launched in March 06’, the second being “The Kendray Young People’s Agreement (11 – 19 yrs), which was launched in July 06’ and the third which is still to be developed and will cover crime and community safety.

As part of both the Clean & Tidy Agreement and the Young People’s Agreement there is the opportunity for you, local residents to play a more active role in helping check the agreement is working by becoming a “Neighbourhood Champion”. This sounds very grand but it’s basically just about making sure the services mentioned in the agreements are being delivered.

A number of residents have already agreed to become 'Neighbourhood Champions', but there's room for more. If you're interested in finding out what being a 'Neighbourhood Champion' involves please contact, David Sabin at Community House on 01226 201898
